Château Grand-Puy Ducasse, Grand Cru Classé

We had a very informative tour and tasting at the chateau. The vinification is spectacular modern - we have never seen something a like that. The lady that did the tour was very professional and friendly- absolutely recommendable

The visit was good. We had to wait a bit in the lobby because a larger group was visiting, we saw that the guide was still busy. Impressive Château, nicely curated tour through the cellar with lots of technological augmentation. I have been to more intensive tastings in terms of guidance and explanations.

Après 4 années de travaux, le résultat est superbe, alliant modernisme et tradition. La visite guidée était fascinante, grâce à notre guide Flavia qui possédait une connaissance approfondie et captivante de l'histoire et de l'architecture du château. Sa passion a vraiment enrichi notre expérience. La dégustation qui a suivi a été un véritable régal, avec une sélection de vins qui ont sublimé notre visite. Un moment inoubliable que je recommande sans hésitation ! Et merci à Stéphanie pour son accueil chaleureux et ses conseils sur les vins.

We arrived on time and were expected and greeted by our tasting guide, Flavia. Grand Puy Ducasse has recently updated and has very grand premises right on the Quai, so we had no trouble locating the winery. The wines were lovely and the tasting experience relaxed and congenial, although the setting in the smart new building is actually quite formal and almost surgically clean. We bought a bottle of Prelude, which we found to be surprisingly affordable. GPD's wines are outstandingly good! Rated 4 out of 5 on "Activity" simply because it's hard to do any better on a simple half hour tasting in a formal 'bar' setting. Thankyou nonetheless, Flavia. Parking on the Quai for us was easy and free for (I think) 2 hours, which was perfect and convenient. There's a good bakery further back up the street if you need a snack lunch.

We really enjoyed our tasting the wines were spectacular and the property was newly renovated and gorgeous!!! We would definitely do another tasting here.

Technologies neuves neuf et impressionnantes (cuves suspendues). On peut voir le traitement des grappes jusqu’à la mise en cuve. Vous ne verrez pas les vignes du vignoble, mais ça ne manque pas à l’expérience. Le site de visite est moderne et esthétique. La guide était charmante et renseignée.
