About the winery

Our ancestors have inherited the Domaine JP Rivière since 1682, but Jean-Pierre was the first one who wanted to devote himself only to his passion for vine and wine. Jean-Pierre and Colette raised their three children : Marine, Alexandre and Pierre-Veran on the estate.

What an amazing time we had touring and tasting. The wines were outstanding, and the warm hospitality of our host, Marine, made the experience even better. Marine did such a great job explaining harvest, the wine making process and the stories behind the wines her and her family produce. We would definitely go back and make another visit. Highly recommend!

Brilliant reception by the wine maker JP himself who didn’t just speak but actually listened to were we came from & our preferences. This resulting in a true cultural exchange, & enhanced by a walk around his cellar & tastes that encompassed his outstanding wine range. If you desire an intimate family oriented tasting experience I strongly recommend a visit. Many thanks also to Jennifer who provided expert assistance with translations.

L'activité porte bien son nom, car la dégustation était gourmande. Les vins étaient au top, le tout accompagné de charcuteries et de fromages. On était un bon groupe. Nous avons tous passé un moment convivial. Une atmosphère chaleureuse nous a permis de mieux apprécier le domaine. Je recommande.
