Domaine Julie et Patrick Noël

The winery Patrick Noël is located in Saint-Satur just below the hill of Sancerre. Our winery cellar, called the Mivoy Vinée, is built on the very site of vines grown from the fourteenth century by the monks of the abbey of Saint-Satur. Our cellars, buried on a hillside, overhang the whole Loire Valle. We enjoy a breathtaking view of Sancerre, ... Sancerre golf and the estate's vineyards. Today our property gather 17 ha of our 3 appellations. Because of his family background, our field is very fragmented. We have fifty parcels including 40 only for the AOC Sancerre. Our vine is often steep and rugged slope can reach up to 40%. All our wines are vinified traditionally respecting our land and the work of our seniors. Our Sancerre Blanc is a blend of different terroirs of the appellation (flint caillottes, clay and limestone). It is a rich and fruity wine. A perfect balance of our soils with flint minerality, fineness of caillottes and fat of clay and limestone. see more
