About the winery

The Crochet family has been cultivating the slopes of Bué since the 16th century. In 1980, Jean-Marc joined his father in the vineyards and 27 years later, it was the turn of Mathieu, Jean-Marc's son. Indeed, in this family, one is born a winegrower and one dies a winegrower! Nous avons été accueillis avec sérieux et gentillesse. La visite a commencé par une dégustation d'excellents vins, accompagnée d'explications précises. Nous avons ensuite visité les installations qui nous ont impressionnées par leur qualité et leur propreté. Tout dans le domaine est méticuleusement ordonné, et c'est le professionnalisme qui règne. A voir absolument

Mathieu welcomed us and explained the terroir issues. Excellent Sauvignon Blanc and a very enjoyable pinot noir at good prices. I highly recommend a visit to them.

Découvrir le vin par le partage du fonctionnement technique de l’entretien des vignes et de toutes les étapes de récoltes, de vinification… jusqu’à la mise en bouteille (matériels, lieux, contextes, évolution des façons de travailler …) avec un passionné qui a l’amour de la terre de sa production et de la rencontre avec nous petits curieux ! Just popped in for a tasting. Areal treat to start our Sancerre day. Wine lovingly made by father and son , much liked by us , Barrell fermented Sancerre was the star!

Malgré la pluie, la visite s'est très bien passée grâce au père et son fils qui nous ont guidé. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette expérience, et avons acheté certains vins que nous avions dégustés sur place tant ils étaient bons.
