Domaine de Bellivière

Established in 1995 by Eric and Christine Nicolas, taken over in 2021 by their son Clément and his wife Laure-Anne, the Domaine de Bellivière now covers 18 hectares in the Jasnières and Coteaux-du-Loir appellations, spread over more than 60 parcels across 5 villages. The soils are entirely worked without herbicides, chemical fertilizers, or ... synthetic products. The flora develops spontaneously, and the small vineyard spaces often coexist with a rich and varied biotope environment. Minimalist methods are employed in vine disease control, with a focus on regular vineyard observation. Since spring 2005, the entire vineyard has been managed using organic agriculture practices, and biodynamic methods have been applied since 2008. Grapes are carefully hand-harvested, wines are vinified and aged entirely in barrels, and fermentation is conducted using indigenous yeasts in our tuffeau caves. Wines from our terroirs exhibit an ability to reveal young, beautiful fruity and floral aromas alongside their mineral backbone.
