About the winery

The Domaine de la Perruche is located in the commune of Montsoreau, famous for its 15th century château, immortalised by Alexandre Dumas in his novel "La Dame de Montsoreau". We received a warm welcome and we were treated to an excellent tasting. We tried a wide range of wines and were given really good explanations (in excellent English!) of the differences between them. I would highly recommend this visit!

We were a small group. The guide gave us a great tour and the wine tasting was pretty good too. We find the town very cute by the way. The only negative point was that they did not want us to let use the bathroom for no reason.
