Champagne Alfred Gratien

We enjoyed our tasting experience at Alfred Gratien quite a lot! The girl who welcomed us was just amazing - perfect English, very positive attitude, great knowledge and super kind. The champagne house is not one of the biggest but their champagne is definitely one of the best that we have tried! We were also very happy that we could visit the champagne house on Sunday (some of the champagne houses in Epernay were closed on Sunday). And finally, a great benefit for us was that they had a charging station for electric cars that we could use while taking the tour.

The world of the house is fascinating and the wine is really good.

We had a lovely time - the tour was great and very informative; and the champagne delicious.

We booked the €60 tour & tasting the morning of our visit based on reviews and articles online. Our guide was funny, engaging and very knowledgable which meant we spent 2 hours learning lots but also having a great time. We had the 4 tasting options and think it was definitely worth the extra to try the vintage champagnes. Well worth the money and a fantastic afternoon well spent
