Domaine Barge

Un moment agréable dans l’un des seul domaine ouvert en jour férié.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit at Domain Barge. Our host Danny was very friendly and knowledgeable. He didn't rush us, and we enjoyed our wines and the charcuterie platter !

The tasting room is large and welcoming. The gentleman who walked us through the tasting was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. He walked us through all aspects of their wines and the plots of grapes they own, and it was great to hear so much history of the wine house. Thank you !

Visite réservée à la dernière minute, en pleines vendanges. Ils nous ont accueillis avec gentillesse et beaucoup d'attention, même s'ils semblaient débordés par le travail. Merci encore de cet accueil !!

It's a beautiful property and the wine was delicious. We were beginners in wine, so did not understand some terms and some stages of the wine making process, which maybe could be explained more in depth. Our sommelier was an absolute angel, Italian guy I forget his name... but he was a star !! Such a sweet person and knows his stuff. He made it such a special experience. Thank you so much, I had a great birthday with Rue des Vignerons !

It was fantastic!! We had the pleasure of meeting the winemaker and watching him work. He was very pleasant ! The host was fantastic, very generous and patient. He was informative and such an easy-going person. He gave us a nice tour of the Domain! I would highly recommend! The wine is fantastic !

Tout s'est très bien déroulé de la réservation à la dégustation. Je pensais à tort qu'il y avait une balade dans les vignes pour nous faire découvrir le domaine. Tant pis, mais merci beaucoup, c'était très intéressant ! :)

The location is incredible; the facilities very good and the staff very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the wines themselves, especially the 2 different presentations of Syrah from the Cote Rotie slopes and the Viognier in the old style. Thank you !
