About the winery

The winery was created by my grandfather, Edouard Batailley, who had bought some vineyard plots in the late 1920s. My father, André Batailley, succeeded him to head the chateau and both developped the vineyard surface area and the vinification knowledge. Their work and effort were passed onto me in 1993.
