About the winery

Following her studies in oenology, Clotilde began her career in the reds of Beaujolais, before discovering the sparkling vineyards of California, and then returning to vinify the whites of Burgundy in Chablis. Les vins étaient tous delicieux, et ils étaient accompagnés parfaitment par les fromages. Karine nous avait acueillis chaleureusement, c'était une expérience formidable!

Accueil souriant, conductrice expérimentée connaissant aussi bien son véhicule que les particularités du vignoble. Balade superbe, intéressante et intelligemment commentée. Petite halte pour apprécier le Vaucoupin en cours de route, puis dégustation de la gamme complète au retour à la boutique. À recommander, malgré son prix plutôt élevé...

Fun fun fun, what a fantastic way to experience the vineyards and the product. Our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable, made a stop of to drink champagne and toast the vineyard half way round up the hill! The electric buggy is really cool! The tasting after was professionally done with no rush.....we spent a bit to much on taking some bottles back to the UK! Highly recommended.

Not ever having tried the wines from Clothilde Davenne, my buddy and I were intrigued to go. I made a booking on Rue des Vignerons and we were set. We arrived early but were greeted cordially and we and promptly. The charming Saren (I may have botched her name) impressed us with her knowledge and her English to enable us to carry on a lively discussion. The wines were all fantastic and we had to restrain ourselves from spending all our money. The whole experience was delightful and we’d highly recommend them.

Friendly, informative and generous tasting of a fantastic variety of Chablis, Sauv and Pinot, including a selection of old vintages. Highly recommended!
