About the winery

Château Chauvin, a Grand Cru Classé since 1955, has belonged since 2014 to the Cazes-Régimbeau family, who are also co-owners of the famous Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac, a pioneer in wine tourism, which has been receiving numerous visitors for decades.

La visite “les petits de chauvins” était tout à fait appropriée pour nos 2 enfants de 4 et 6 ans qui se sont pris au jeu de piste. Nous avons apprécié le parcours dans les vignes et les 3 différents cépages. La Dégustation jus + vins à la fin du parcours fut très appréciée de tous. Excellent accueil.

Belle découverte de la propriété sous un soleil impeccable. Nous avons passé un délicieux moment avec Mathilde, qui nous a brillamment parlé du vin du Château Chauvin, avec une passion partagée, suivi d’une dégustation remarquable. Un grand moment. Merci Mathilde !!!

Highly recommend this tour! Mathilde was super knowledgeable about the wine making process (and very humble) and she did a wonderful job making sure our daughter had a fun time. We had been to bigger wineries in Bordeaux and Mathilde impressed us the most when compared to the other guides. We left with some great wines and will definitely be back!

Nous avons passé un moment exquis au château Chauvin, en famille avec les enfants (dont certains en bas âge). De l’accueil au départ, nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés et chanceux de nous enrichir culturellement au sein de cette maison d’exception. Le bonus a été la dégustation, avec la découverte du Château Chauvin 2022… grand moment ! Je recommande vivement !

In a beautiful room overlooking the vineyard, we had a tasting of 3 lovely wines. This chateau is not to be missed when visiting Bordeaux!!

La visite des vignes et la dégustation correspondaient tout à fait à nos attentes. La partie dégustation est très complète, avec de vraies explications précises et de très bons vins. Les explications de la personne nous faisant découvrir le domaine étaient également toujours très juste. Un très bon moment!
