About the winery

Nestled in the heart of the village of Saint-Emilion, Couvent des Jacobins has been a family business since 1902. Jean Jean acquired the property and today it is his great-great-grandson, Xavier, who carries on the tradition of the Grand Cru Classé with a touch of innovation. Visite très intéressante avec beaucoup d'explications pertinentes sur la fabrication du vins qui nous ont permis de comprendre beaucoup d choses que nous ignorions. Notre guide était très agréable et synthétique dans ses explications. La dégustation a été un aboutissement à cette belle expérience.

Hemos realizado un tour guiado en español de la mano de Eva Luna. Desde el primer momento la acogida ha sido atenta y muy amable, la explicación del proceso de la realización del vino por parte de Eva Luna ha sido excepcional y los espacios de elaboración son únicos y dignos de ver. Hemos acabado con una cata de dos vinos que nos ha encantado.Una visita muy interesante. Recomendaremos a familia y amigos de nuestro entorno. Muchas gracias!

Très bel have de paix cet ancien couvent, beau jardin, cave naturelle creusée ds la roche, vin au goût subtil. En compagnie de notre guide: Nina, dynamique, captivante, naturelle ns avons fait un appréciable, petit tour en tuc tuc pour découvrir la propriété, puis visite des caves naturelles, dégustation de 2 vins tout en savourant notre pique-nique... A découvrir absolument et passer un bon moment...

Accueil très agréable dans le jardin. Visite complète avec beaucoup d explications, très belles carrières. Vins abordables en prix et de qualité. Ici, le temps de visite a dépassé l’heure prévue et c’est très vite passé ! Bel endroit à voir !

Visite sur le terrain pour comprendre la culture de la vigne et dans le couvent pour découvrir la fabrication du vin.Une guide très pedagogue et super dynamique.Les immenses carrières sont une belle surprise et le couvent est romantique à souhaitUne visite que je recommande vivement.

A pesar de ser un chateau pequeño, su visita merece la pena. Tiene la comodidad de estar situada en el pueblo, por lo que se pueden combinar ambas actividades sin tener que coger el coche. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor de todo fue la atención de Eva Luna, que no solo hizo que la visita fuera interesante sino que además hizo que fuera muy agradable. Muchas gracias por el trato recibido.
