About the winery

The Dopffs have always been committed to developing and expanding their family estate. With 70 hectares of vineyards, it has become over time the largest estate in the heart of the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. De begeleider van de wijnproeverij had een heel persoonlijke benadering, vertelde wat over zijn achtergrond en schakelde makkelijk tussen engels en duits. Absoluut geen commercieel verhaal. Onder andere daardoor hebben we dus toch wat lekkere flesjes gekocht ?

Not the best wine tasting experience

We weren't happy as we went to other site only to be told that a large party was expected and we had to go back up the hill, with poor directions as to where to find the other site, in the heat and me with health problems. We decided we would not buy their wine as a result, even though we had intended buying 24 bottles for our son's wedding in a few weeks

Our day to Dopf au Molin winery in Riquewihr was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed hearing the history of Cremant production at this winery along with the history of the many wines in the Alsace region. The staff was so friendly and helpful and it made for a wonderful experience.

Personnel super gentil, à l'écoute plus grand vignoble de riquewihr plusieurs choix bonne dégustation mais ce serait mieux assis avec des chaises :) mais sinon c'était super :)
