This champagne house was new to us. So we did not know what to expect. But the welcome was great and our guide/host was really good. She answered our questions and explained the champagne we tried very well. The visit to the chalk caves was good but it would have been more impactful to see actual real champagne down there rather than fake bottles. But great experience and great champagne.

The tour guide was very informative and we learnt a lot about the history of the area and the champagne house, as well as the process of making champagne. The tasting of 3 prestige champagnes was presented expertly and with a lot of information about each champagne. A wonderful time was had by all.

visite sympathique et conviviale , interessante tout y est bien expliqué mais un peu trop en mode express . En revanche la dégustation est fort sympathique et intéressante la dégustation de 3 champagnes différents nous permet d’apprécier ces différences .
Best Birthday ever!

We had the best experience yesterday at G.H. Martel, we took the wrong train from Champagne-Ardenne station, so we got 15 minutes late to our tour, and here is when the good experience began, we were welcomed by Eliza, she told us that unfortunately, we missed our tour, but we could participate in the tasting. She saw the sadness in my face (I was about to cry) and right away she started to look for solutions for us. She couldn't find another tour, obviously everything was fully booked, so we did the tasting, which we really enjoyed, and at the end of it she approached us offering us a tour at 4pm without cost. She didn't know the day before was my birthday, and that was my birthday present. I had been planning that for months. We came back at 4pm and we had the best tour ever. Eliza your kindness was the best birthday present ever!

Our guide did a terrific job explaining the process for making champagne while showing us the historic cellars. During the tasting, he described each one without being pretentious. He even shared how we can find Martel champagne in the USA.

Très bon accueil et une dégustation remarquable car le champagne et sa vinification sont très bien expliqué en revanche les caves même classées sont très très succinctes Je pense que je reviendrai prochainement pour ramener quelques bouteilles ?

Visite à faire dans cette maison de champagne familiale. Nous avons passé un bon moment. La visite des caves est intéressante et le guide était très sympathique. La dégustation en fonction de la formule choisie était très bien aussi. Je recommande cette visite si vous êtes de passage ou bien même rémois :)
