You'll stroll through the vineyards, meet a charming local winemaker, visit the prestigious Nicolas Feuillatte champagne house, pay your respects at the tomb of Dom Pérignon and taste at least six full glasses of different champagnes!
Champagne is known as the most festive, glamorous and romantic of all wines. During this tour, you'll discover all the passion and hard work involved in making champagne, and leave with a greater appreciation of this unique wine.
* What's included:
- Round trip from Paris.
- Transportation in comfortable minibus.
- English-speaking Champagne expert guide.
- Tasting of 6 glasses of different Champagnes.
- Visit to a Champagne vineyard and the Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne House.
* Program:
- Meet your guide in the center of Paris and enjoy a comfortable 90-minute drive to the Champagne region.
- The first stop on this tour is the impressive Gothic cathedral of Reims. You'll discover the fascinating history of the coronation traditions of the kings of France. You'll also have free time to explore the serenity that reigns inside this Gothic masterpiece.
- Afterward, you'll head off to meet a renowned local winemaker. The local winemaker will take you on an intimate tour of his estate. You'll discover all the delicate details involved in making Champagne. You'll learn exactly what happens at each stage, from pressing the freshly cut grapes to corking the bottles.
- Once you've understood how it's made, it's time to let your taste buds do the learning. In a charming tasting room, the winemakers will introduce you to at least three different types of Champagne and let you taste them. They'll explain the particularities of a Blanc de Blanc and a Rosé, as well as the differences between a Brut and a Demi-Sec, a Cuvée and a Vintage.
- Then off to visit and dine in the beautiful town of Epernay. In the heart of the old town, you'll have an hour's free time to explore the town and enjoy lunch (not included). With the guide's suggestions, we're sure you'll be able to find a place to suit your budget and culinary tastes.
- After lunch, you'll visit the highly prestigious Maison Nicolas Feuillatte. This will be a very different experience from the more modest winery we visited earlier in the day. You'll walk among the giant oak barrels where the wine ferments, and also see the state-of-the-art machinery that transports millions of bottles of champagne to connoisseurs around the world. You'll then be invited to taste three of their wonderful champagnes and enjoy their unique flavors.
- On the way back to Paris, we'll make a special stop so you can pay your respects to Dom Pérignon, the father of Champagne. Brother Dom Pérignon's tomb is located in a small village on a hillside, with a magnificent view of the Marne River and surrounding vineyards. Here, your guide will explain the legend of the humble monk who perfected the champagne-making process.
- Once the adventure is over, you'll arrive in Paris, between 6.00 and 6.30 pm, at Place Saint-Michel.
⚠️ Important:

We definitely enjoyed a lot the tour. Our tour guide was so kind and friendly! We loved the restaurant he suggested. For the choices of Champagne Houses, I preferred Nicolas Feuillate more, which showcased a variety of higher quality champagnes. Although the quality of Delaunois Chanez was not as good as Nicolas, it was still an interesting family hosted House. Overall, the experience was good. The only thing is the price was a little too high... €230 per person without the lunch, I prefer a better price to recommend this tour to my friends
