Château Kirwan, Grand Cru Classé

I had a wonderful, individual guided tour and tasting with a very gracious and hospitable guide. I learnt a lot about the history, the grapes, the wine making process and the region as a whole. A wonderful experience, and the wine itself is fantastic.

En vacances en Médoc nous avons visité le château Kirwan au coeur des prestigieuses parcelles de Margaux. Une visite du parc magnifique en guise d'amuse bouche qui precede les explications de Marie sur l'historique du chateau, très intéressant. Ensuite au pied des vignes et ces sols si particulier qui font ce vin puis visite des chais et explications sur l'élaboration de celui ci. Puis on termine par la dégustation du château Kirwan et son second vin.Très belle découverte, à faire.

Avons passé un excellent tour du Domaine avec notre guide Marie qui est "First Class".

One of the best tours we had in our month in France: very informative and pleasant. The wines, especially the Grand Cru, were excellent. We were a bit disappointed, given the cost of this tour, that we only tasted two wines, but the overall experience was quite good.

Très belle présentation, entre l'histoire de ce château, la création de ce cépage et la dégustation. Merci à l'hôtesse qui a été parfaite dans ses explications.

I enjoyed the tour/tasting, Sara was great and knowledgeable, I’m a beginner in terms knowledge about the growing and production of wine, and have had a great experience. The property was gorgeous and the employees speak very highly of the owners. That to me speaks volumes

Sarah was informative, friendly, knowledgeable, funny. We learned so much about the process and traditions of winemaking.
